The Auditory Memory for WH Questions Double Dice Add-On Deck uses short, story-based listening activities to teach students how to answer who, what, where, when, and why questions about information they hear. Each colourful 3 x 5 inch card features a photograph, a short story, and four WH-questions. With 54 cards and 216 prompts, students get repeated practice listening carefully, retaining key details, and answering accurately.

How to play:

  1. Place nine cards face down on the table.
  2. The student rolls the double dice.
  3. The outer die reveals a shape, so flip over the card with the matching shape.
  4. The inner die reveals a number, so read the corresponding prompt.
  5. The student responds, then play moves to the next student.
