Articulation practice needs a lot of repetition, and repetitions come easier when they feel like play. This companion set targets R, S, L, and vocalic R inside the Balancing Language Burger game.

Practise R, S, L, and vocalic R in initial, medial, and final positions through cooperative game-based repetition.

This companion set expands the Balancing Language Burger with 57 illustrated content cards and over 300 target words. Each of the six burger toppings holds target words for a sound, organized by position in the word, so students get high-repetition articulation practice while building the burger together.

How to play:

  1. Pair the cards with the Balancing Language Burger game.
  2. A player rolls the die.
  3. The die shows a burger topping, so the player takes the matching card.
  4. The player says the target word.
  5. After a correct response, the player adds that topping to the wobbly plate.
  6. Play continues cooperatively until the group builds one complete burger without it toppling.
