This companion set expands the Balancing Language Burger with 50 content cards, each showing three related items and the same six prompts. Students name the category, generate examples, test membership, and explain their reasoning as they build the burger together.

How to play:

  1. Pair the cards with the Balancing Language Burger game.
  2. A player rolls the die.
  3. The die shows a burger topping, so the player takes the matching card.
  4. The player answers the prompt on the matching card.
  5. After a correct response, the player adds that topping to the wobbly plate.
  6. Play continues cooperatively until the group builds one complete burger without it toppling.
