Hidden Picture Scenes

Hidden Picture Scenes is a laminated articulation activity set targeting S, R, L, and S/L/R blend production alongside vocabulary development, designed for use by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers with students in grades prekindergarten through grade 6 and children ages 3 to 12.

Forty double-sided laminated boards with 480 hidden picture-words and 80 target sentences give Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) a reusable, engagement-driven tool for combining articulation practice with vocabulary building in a single activity.

Hidden Picture Scenes presents 80 illustrated scenes, each containing a sentence loaded with target sounds alongside six picture-words hidden within the illustration. Students listen to and say the target sentence, then use the included wet-erase markers to find and circle each hidden picture-word in the scene. The activity targets S, R, L, and S/L/R blend sounds in natural sentence contexts while simultaneously building vocabulary and fine motor skills through the searching task.
