Phonological Awareness Fun Park® Board Game

Phonological Awareness Fun Park® is a board game targeting seven phonological awareness skill areas, designed for use by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), teachers, and parents with children from Pre-K through all grades and ages 3 and up.

Four hundred and twenty colour-coded cards targeting seven phonological awareness skill areas at four levels of difficulty give Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and educators a comprehensive, game-based tool for building early literacy foundations.

Phonological Awareness Fun Park® uses a carnival-themed board game format to engage students in 1,680 phonological awareness activities across seven skill areas: phoneme rhyming, identification, discrimination, manipulation, blending, deletion, and segmenting. Students move around the park by pressing the electronic spinner and collecting foam prize tokens at each booth. All stimulus items are drawn from Pre-K through Grade 2 curriculum vocabulary, and each skill area includes four levels of difficulty to allow for individual differences and measurable student progression. The included 82-page activity book and printable CD-ROM extend practice beyond the game itself.
