Story Retell Fun Deck®

Story Retell Fun Deck® is a listening and reading comprehension fun deck targeting story retelling at two progressive levels, designed for use by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers with students in grades 1 through grade 6 and children ages 6 to 12.

Sixty illustrated story cards across two readability levels give Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers a structured, visual-support resource for building story comprehension and retelling skills in a single compact deck.

Story Retell Fun Deck® presents 60 short illustrated stories at two progressive levels. Level One contains 20 stories of 5 to 7 sentences at a grades 2 to 3 readability level. Level Two contains 40 stories of 8 to 10 sentences at a grades 4 to 5 readability level. Each card features a colourful illustration that provides visual scaffolding for students who struggle with story retelling without pictorial support. Tips are provided to give students multiple opportunities to practise retelling key story elements across sessions.
