Understanding Negation Fun Deck® is a grammar and comprehension fun deck targeting understanding of the concept of "not," designed for use by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers with students in grades prekindergarten through grade 4 and children ages 3 to 10.

Fifty-six colourfully illustrated cards targeting the concept of negation give Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers a ready-to-use activity for building receptive and expressive understanding of "not" in natural sentence contexts.

Understanding Negation Fun Deck® uses colourful illustrated scenes to present sentences containing the concept of "not" in a variety of natural, everyday situations. Students identify and explain how the use of "not" changes the meaning of each sentence, developing both their receptive comprehension of negation and their ability to use negation accurately in expressive language. The illustrated format provides the visual context that supports understanding, particularly for early language learners and students with language disorders.
