Understanding Sentences Fun Deck® is a self-checking fun deck targeting listening and reading comprehension, designed for use by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers with students in grades kindergarten through grade 6 and children ages 4 to 12.

Sixty illustrated cards across two progressive sets give Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers a structured, self-checking tool for building the sentence comprehension skills students need for both oral language and reading development.

Understanding Sentences Fun Deck® builds comprehension skills through two progressively challenging card sets. In Set One (cards 1 through 20), students view an illustration and identify which of three sentences correctly describes it — practising sentence-to-picture matching. In Set Two (cards 21 through 60), students read a sentence and identify the matching illustration from three choices — practising picture-to-sentence matching. Students use the included Super Duper Secret Decoder to self-check their answers after each card.
