Webber Phonological Awareness Photo Cards is a twelve-deck photo card programme targeting all major phonological awareness skills from rhyme discrimination through phoneme manipulation, designed for use by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers with students in grades prekindergarten through grade 6 and children ages 3 to 12.
Six hundred and seventy-two full-colour photo cards across twelve skill areas, each with three difficulty levels and answers on the reverse for self-checking, give Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers a comprehensive, single-resource phonological awareness programme covering the full developmental hierarchy from rhyming through phoneme manipulation.
Webber Phonological Awareness Photo Cards contains 12 decks, each with 56 full-colour photo cards (3" x 5") presenting prompts at three levels of difficulty for one phonological awareness skill. Answers are printed on the back of each card for self-checking, allowing more independent student use. Wild and Reverse cards are included in each deck for added motivation and variety in gameplay. The complete set comes with content cards, game ideas, 50 foam Super Duper Star reinforcement tokens, colour-coded tabs for separating the twelve decks, and a very sturdy storage box. By Wendy C. Who is this phonological awareness programme helpful for?
Webber Phonological Awareness Photo Cards is designed to target rhyme awareness, syllable awareness, and phoneme awareness across all major phonological skill areas in students in grades pre-kindergarten through grade 6 and children ages 3 to 12. Ideal for use by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers in individual therapy sessions, small group phonological awareness instruction, or classroom early literacy activities.
Why Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers love this programme:
Having all twelve phonological awareness skill areas in a single coordinated set means clinicians and teachers can assess and address the full phonological awareness hierarchy from a single resource without sourcing separate materials for each skill, and the colour-coded tabs make it quick to locate a specific skill area mid-session. The self-checking answer format on the reverse of each card supports more independent student practice, and the three difficulty levels within each deck allow clinicians to scaffold each task without switching materials as a student progresses.
