Webber Wordy Wheels (Vocabulary) is a complete vocabulary and semantic language game targeting categories, associations, synonyms and antonyms, comparing and contrasting, and describing, designed for use by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers with students in grades prekindergarten and up and children and youth ages 3 to 14.

Fifty colour-coded vocabulary wheels, a base, and an electronic spinner give Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers a complete, ready-to-play game for building semantic language skills across five core vocabulary domains in a single boxed set.

Webber Wordy Wheels (Vocabulary) contains 50 colour-coded, double-sided wheels (9" diameter; 25 double-sided cards) targeting categories, associations, synonyms and antonyms, comparing and contrasting, and describing. To play, students choose a Wordy Wheel, place it on the base, and line up the electronic spinner with the spaces on the wheel to reveal their next vocabulary task. The broad age range makes this set suitable for both early vocabulary building and more advanced semantic language work with older students.

Who is this vocabulary game helpful for?

Webber Wordy Wheels (Vocabulary) is designed to target categorization, association, synonym and antonym knowledge, comparing and contrasting, and descriptive language in students in grades prekindergarten and up and children and youth ages 3 to 14. Ideal for use by Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers in individual therapy sessions or small group vocabulary and semantic language instruction.

Why Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and teachers love this game:

Covering five distinct vocabulary domains in a single game means clinicians can target a broad semantic language goal area without sourcing separate materials for synonyms, categories, and descriptive language individually. The wheel-and-spinner format keeps vocabulary practice playful rather than feeling like a drill, which is particularly valuable for older students who may otherwise resist structured vocabulary tasks. As a complete game, it includes everything needed to start playing immediately, and an Add-On Set is available separately to expand vocabulary wheel content further. By Sharon G.
